AsiaSelect Inc.'s ISO 9001:2000 Certification

Working on its vision to be the best people solution provider in Asia, ASI continues to seek best practices to provide its clients with the best people at the shortest possible time. With this strong commitment to quality, ASI worked intensively to have its search and selection process documented and certified. As a result, ASI became the first land-based search and selection firm to be certified under ISO 9001:2000 standards, as assessed by Certification International Philippines in 2002.

An ISO 9001:2000 certificate proves that the organization’s Quality Management System has been certified against a best practice standard and found compliant. Issued by Certification International Phils. (affiliated with Certification International of United Kingdom), following the standards of United Kingdom Association of Standards (UKAS), a third party certification body/registrar, the certificate lets customers know they can trust that the company has implemented the necessary processes to meet obligations.

In 2002, Asia Select submitted its search and selection process for certification under ISO 9001:2000, for assessment by the Philippines Office of the Certification International (UK) Limited. The quality management system was certified in October 2002 and recertified to ISO 9001:2000 in October 2005 for another 3 years

About the ISO 9001:2000 Standard

The ISO 9001:2000 standard is an international reference for quality management requirements and continuous improvement in business-to business dealings. It is a generic standard that can be applied across all industries, regardless of product or service delivered. The standard refers to an organization’s structure for managing its processes or activities that transforms inputs of resources into a product or service to meet customized objectives, such as satisfying customer quality requirements.
